Who is the Gnostic woman?
Woman, as an expression of the Eternal Feminine, is an inexhaustible fount of virtues and mysteries. Far from being a passive figure, the Gnostic woman is the true protagonist of sacred knowledge. She possesses an inner universe that connects her with the divine.
In these times when human and spiritual values are in crisis, she rises as a fundamental pillar of society. For her, success is not synonymous with material goods. She understands that authentic happiness cannot be bought, because the values of the soul surpass any wealth.
The Gnostic woman knows she is predestined to fulfil a sacred role. She holds great mysteries within her heart and only needs to manifest them to the world.
The Gnostic woman: Feminine leadership
In our times, the Gnostic woman is a leader who transforms her environment. Her particular psychology is governed by two key elements:
- Water: Which governs her emotions, granting her a receptive and intuitive nature.
- Air: Which acts upon her mind, driving her creativity and clarity of thought.
Her great virtues are able to generate an atmosphere of trust, organisation cooperation. Beyond the technical and professional skills she is easily able to develop, she also possesses values such as altruism, empathy and Love for humanity, which are far greater.
Her great strength is being able to connect her thoughts and emotions with the needs of others. This allows her to resolve conflicts through listening with real attention and understanding. In this way, she is able to create psychologically safe and stable environments, both for family and at work.
The Gnostic woman as a pillar of wisdom
Wisdom is not about accumulating information. It is knowing how to act in a balanced way in daily life. In this sense, the Gnostic woman is the perfect manifestation of the Father-Mother God. She reflects the wisdom of Sophia, the Divine Mother, instructor of humanity.
The Gnostic woman expresses sublime virtues. She helps us understand our thoughts and feelings. She leads us to comprehend our reactions. This provides the foundation to act with balance, harmony and peace.
Woman as an expression of the Divine Mother (a higher spiritual force) represents life itself, freedom and creativity. Some of her important virtues are:
- Love: In its most sublime aspect is Forgiveness. Her Love is present in every detail, within her family, her work and as a Mother.
- Altruism: She feels joy when things go well for others, and does all she can for their wellbeing.
- Strength: She always sees hope and goes on, even in the face of the difficulties of life, inspiring those around her to also endure all adversities.
- Justice: Applied with equity and Love. Not to punish but to teach.
The Gnostic woman always expresses her Wisdom with gentleness, tenderness and firmness.
Woman as a divine expression
From the very moment of her conception, woman has a sacred role: to give life. She can create not only at a physical but also at a spiritual level.
Throughout history, the Divine Feminine Principle has been revered under different names across many cultures, in recognition of the sacred role of woman. Some of these are:
- Isis: the Divine Mother, a symbol of protection and of the mysteries of resurrection (Egypt).
- Cybele: the Goddess of fertility and protector of nature (Asia Minor).
- Ixchel: a Deity who connected natural cycles, birth and the arts (Mayan culture).
- Mary: the ultimate expression of maternal love, purity and self-sacrifice (Christianity).
These remind us that woman is the sacred chalice where life is sustained. These divine feminine figures are givers of life and linked to the cycles of nature. They are protectors, caring for and healing life in all its expressions.
Furthermore, woman is a transforming force. She gives life to a physical child in her womb and she also gives life to a spiritual child: the Christ, who is born within her heart.
Practices of the Gnostic woman
We need a strong and healthy body to live a full life. To achieve this, we must complement good nutrition with breathing practices and exercise. It is important to practise transmutation (the wise use of energy) daily and to do physical exercise.
This exercise does not need to be very strenuous; integration with nature through outdoor walks, cycling or swimming are recommended practices.
Meditation is important because it balances us and helps to silence our mind. It is also a doorway that leads us to states of inspiration and spiritual exaltation. Meditation helps us in the awakening of consciousness.
The Gnostic woman loves and respects her body. She knows it is a sacred temple. Therefore, she must care for it to fulfil her mission as a woman, wife, mother and generator of life.
Our ancestors left us practices to keep our bodies flexible, boost our immune system and activate our circulation. And, through meditation, we learn to:
- Improve concentration.
- Improve our memory.
- Improve our learning.
- Control our emotions.
Ultimately, all of these are tools that help us live in balance and harmony.
Exercises
Exercise allows you to achieve the health and strength needed to fulfil your role in society. Below are 3 basic exercises:
- Oxygenation exercises: These combine breathing with movement, mantras, prayers and visualisation. The objective is to revitalise our body, activate our circulation, transmute our energies and balance our nervous system.
- Meditation: This benefits us physically, mentally and spiritually. It is the science of reflection for the awakening of consciousness and for obtaining information from the internal worlds.
- Transmutation exercises: Within every woman lie the secrets deposited by the Cosmic Mother and Mother Nature. This life energy is also present in men. It is the presence of God the Mother, Shakti, Kundalini, light and movement.
Esoteric transmutation exercises combine breathing, concentration, mantras and movements. These exercises cause that energy (light) to ascend from the coccyx through the spine to our brain, and then to the heart.
The Gnostic woman knows she is that chalice where light is found. She is the guardian of the sacred, of the wisdom of life. Through the practice of these exercises, she becomes an alchemist.
Conclusion
The awakening of the world depends on woman recognising her true value and assuming her role as an initiator. She needs to reclaim her place as a spiritual guide, governing from the profound wisdom of her heart. The Gnostic woman is the living holy grail, Sophia incarnate. Her mission is to be the beacon that guides human consciousness.
